Established in 1996, Chandra Vamsa Organization for Rural Development (CORD) is a registered non-governmental organization committed to the welfare and development of rural communities in Andhra Pradesh. Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No. 07/96, CORD was founded in Karamchedu with the objective of improving the living standards of poor, marginalized, and vulnerable sections of society.
The organization is managed by a team of experienced, socially committed, and well-educated individuals who share a common vision of creating sustainable social change in rural areas. Over the years, CORD has successfully implemented various development initiatives focusing on education, healthcare, women empowerment, elderly care, disability support, consumer awareness, sanitation, and livelihood promotion.
